Frequently I am required to coach on an ongoing, ad hoc basis which is generally open-ended. This is a valuable and insightful process with the objective always to meet the needs of the client.
This type of mentoring implies a longer, less formal and structured relationship which, nonetheless, can be extremely powerful and beneficial over the medium to long term.
After an agreed timescale, I pass on the mentoring role to a senior management member who will then continue this process.
